ZZ TOP a.k.a. “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas,” lay undisputed claim to being the longest running major rock band with original personnel, Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beard, always intact and in 2004 the Texas trio was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Billy is widely regarded as one of American finest blues guitarists working in the rock idiom. Dusty has long had an affinity for rock’s origins; his earliest performances as a child included Elvis songs convincingly performed. Dusty is the rock solid bottom of ZZ TOP. Frank has both the roots, is a progressive drummer and has been acknowledged as key to the band’s powerful on-stage and in-studio presence. They’re real and they’re surreal and they’re ZZ TOP.

THE TUBES

The ‘80s theatre rock band the Tubes were formed in San Francisco in the previous decade. Their live performances are infamous for their inclusion of pornographic material, as well as their satirical commentary on politics and consumerism.

The roots of the Tubes go back to Phoenix, Arizona, when two young bands from that area moved to San Francisco in the late 1960s. The Beans and The Red, White and Blues Band merged, forming the Tubes that year. The band’s line up has more or less remained consistent over the years; it includes Fee Waybill, Bill “Sputnik” Spooner, Roger Steen, Prairie Prince, Michael Cotton, Vince Welnick, and Rick Anderson. Re Styles and Mingo Lewis also played with the band early on..

The albums of the Tubes include The Tubes, Young and Rich, Now, What Do You Want From Live, Remote Control, The Completion Backward Principle, Outside Inside, Love Bomb, and 1996’s Genius of America.

GEORGIA SATELLITES

From their bar band roots to their chart-crashing megahits to their current tour of sold-out shows, The Georgia Satellites have kept the world moving to sweet, gritty, three-chord rock n roll.

Founded in 1985 by Rick Richards, Rick Price, singer Dan Baird and drummer Mauro Magellan, the Satellites quickly launched into stardom on the back of rockers like Keep Your Hands to Yourself, Battleship Chains, Hippy Hippy Shake and others. Critically acclaimed albums and mind-bending performances earned the boys a permanent spot in music history.

After a brief sabbatical following the departure of Baird, The Georgia Satellites returned with a vengeance in 1993. Led by Price and Richards and joined by drummer Todd Johnston, they have packed houses around the world with their blistering brand of Southern rock.

CYDNEY ROBINSON

A Texas born singer/songwriter with the soul of The Greats! Cydney drove out to California with a Uhaul attached to the back of her Camaro, a handful of cash bound with a rubber band and a six-string guitar in the passenger seat. With a head full of stories, and a heart full of passion she began writing songs. She now resides in California, and has just completed her first album with the acclaimed producer, ‘Tony Hoffer’ who has worked with other incredible artist such as Beck, Belle and Sebastian, The Thrills, The Kooks, The Fratellis. . . to name a few. This soulful new record is a unique blend of influences from the turn of the century music in the Appalachian Mountains, and the days of the chain gangs. There is an honesty in her songs that strip you naked. I hope you enjoy the journey you are about to take through the soulful, captivating, and soothing twists and turns of ‘Spokesman for the Shoeless’ as much as I have. She is the real deal!
