NEW LOVE RIDE CD SERIES
2008 marks the
25th anniversary of LOVE RIDE the amazing charity event
that has brought thousands of music and motorcycle fans together
year after year to celebrate life and raise money for those less
fortunate. LOVE RIDE founder and owner of Glendale Harley Davidson,
Oliver Shoukoh began this amazing journey with his friend Jay Leno
over a quarter century ago and it keeps getting bigger and better.
Last year, LOVE
RIDE 24 saw the very first record album dedicated to the event, when
artists and producers Andrew Kastner and Todd Smallwood teamed up to
bring many of their friends together for the CD compilation, BORN
TO RIDE . Included were Gregg Allman (The Allman Brothers Band),
Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Robby Krieger (The Doors), Randy
Bachman (BTO), Andy Summers (The Police), Jeff Healey, Brian Setzer
(Stray Cats) and more.
This year LOVE
RIDE 25 is celebrated with new unreleased tracks from The Allman
Brothers Band, Andy Summers, The Mick Fleetwood Band, Floyd Miles,
Dave Mason, Robby Krieger and Todd Smallwood as well as top blues
rockers Joe Bonamassa and Too Slim and the Taildraggers, the
phenomenal Hope Waits, England s sensation Back Door Slam and the
young and amazingly talented country crossover artist Ashleigh
Rogers.
LOVE RIDE 24 and
25 are just the first in a series that promises a special place in
music history created for pure enjoyment and the benefit of some
of the most worthwhile charities in existence.
